I previously went to see another oral surgeon who made my Mandibular Tori removal sound like a very painful, drawn out procedure with the possibility of several complications. I would definitely have to be asleep. That it was a “barbaric” procedure that I wouldn’t want to be awake for and remember. They made it souls so bad that I put off the surgery for several years. Two weeks ago I went to see Dr Weinstein at South, Florida Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Center. He examined me and told me my procedure was very simple and could be done with just a few shots of Novacaine. I went in today for my procedure with Dr. Weinstein expecting the worse. He gave me the Novacane, came back in a few minutes later, and within 10 mins it was completely over. I felt nothing. It was the easiest, smoothest procedure I’ve ever experienced at a dental office. It is now 7 hours later and I’m still feeling fine and pain free. I would recommend Dr Weinstein for any procedure. He and his staff were incredible. Fast, easy, friendly. I was in and out in no time and without the pain I was dreading. If I ever have to go to an Oral Surgeon again, I know exactly who it’ll be, Dr Paul Weinstein. Thank you, Dr W

My grandson had a wonderful experience having four wisdom teeth extracted by Dr Travis Thompson. He was awesome. The entire staff were professional and very kind and caring. I couldn’t have been more pleased. I highly recommend this practice.

A fantastic experience from the consultation through the procedure. I was referred to South Florida Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery by my general dentist. I had two failed root canals with crowns that could not be restored. I met with Dr. Travis Thompson, who gave me a full examination and confirmed that the two teeth needed to be removed and went over the options of what could be done. I chose to have him surgically remove both teeth and perform a bone graft, in preparation for implants. The morning of my surgery, I was taken into the operating room where the nurses prepared me for the procedure. I had chosen IV sedation and within 5 minutes, I was hooked up to the monitoring system and the IV was inserted, absolutely painlessly. Dr. Thompson came in and went over the procedure one more time, before I went to sleep. The next thing I knew, I woke up in the recovery room, with the nurse and Dr Thompson checking on me. My wife arrived to pick me up and I was on my way home. Dr. Thompson gave me a prescription for pain meds if I needed them but a few Tylenol were all I needed. The next morning I woke up to very minor discomfort that the Tylenol took care of and that afternoon
